Hip-hop tycoon Sean “Diddy” Combs has officially hired The Weeknd‘s manager Wassim “Sal” Slaiby and co-manager Amir “Cash” Esmailian, according to Billboard.
Combs, whose net worth was estimated at $740 million in 2019 by Forbes, owns Combs Enterprises, which holds a portfolio of businesses and investments in various industries, including the record label Bad Boy Entertainment, Ciroc Vodka and the cable network REVOLT TV.
Combs, whose last official project was the MMM (Money Making Mitch) mixtape in 2015, recently tweeted, “I’m making a classic.” According to reports, he has been in the studio with some producers and songwriters.
Slaiby, who is the the founder and CEO of SALXCO and XO Records, also manages Doja Cat, French Montana, Bebe Rexha, Ty Dolla $ign and Swedish House Mafia.
Slaiby was named manager of the year by Variety in 2020. He was also featured on the cover of Billboard‘s Change Agents issue in January.
