Taurus, a highly anticipated musical saga starring Billboard Music Award-winning musician Machine Gun Kelly, has reportedly added quite a few prominent names to its cast.

The storyline revolves around a talented musician, Colson Baker, played by the pop-punk star, who despite being quite promising, is in frantic pursuit of the inspiration to record one last song.

According to Deadline, Transformers actress and MGK’S girlfriend, Megan Fox will play the role of Colson’s ex-girlfriend and Ruby Rose will play his drug dealer, while Maddie Hasson from Malignant will be his sister-like assistant. Scoot Mcnairy, Lil Meech, Lil TJay and Naomi Wild have also been added to the cast.

Originally titled Good News, as a “homage” to Mac Miller, referring to his first posthumous single from Circles, the movie directed by Tim Sutton is said to reflect on the lives and careers of famous and bright artists who unfortunately died young such as Miller, Lil Peep, Pop Smoke, and Juice WRLD.

Touching on such pressing and serious areas of concern, Taurus sheds light on “the darkness of fame, addiction, the artistic process and the music industry.”
