Mariah Carey‘s “All I Want for Christmas Is You” has remained on top of the Billboard Hot 100 for the third straight week.
After a year’s gap, the song returned to No. 1 on the Hot 100 songs chart two week ago.
The Billboard Hot 100 ranks songs based on U.S. streaming, radio airplay and sales data, as compiled by MRC Data.
The Christmas song topped the chart dated January 8, 2022, with 35.4 million U.S. streams and 16.5 million radio airplay audience impressions in the December 24-30 tracking week.
Carey has subsequently extended her record for the longest span of an artist ranking at No. 1 on the chart, as it has been 31 years, five months and a week since her debut single “Vision of Love” topped the chart dated August 4, 1990.
Billboard noted Carey also extended her record to 87 weeks at No. 1 on the Hot 100.
