Queen of Pop Madonna has revealed that she wants to go on tour with pop-star Britney Spears and “reenact” their famous MTV Video Music Awards kiss.
During an Instagram Live Q&A with fans, Madonna said that she would love to do a world tour with Spears in the future and went on to suggest that the pair could “reenact” their iconic kiss from the 2003 VMAs.
Madonna said, “Hell yeah. I have to. Stadium baby. Me and Britney, what about that? Not sure if she’d be into it, but it would be really cool. We could like, reenact the original [kiss].”
The kiss is often cited as one of the most iconic moments in the history of the VMAs. The incident took place during a joint performance of Madonna’s songs “Like A Virgin” and “Hollywood” with Spears and Christina Aguilera.
Madonna and Spears last performed live on a stage in November 2008 for a surprise duet of “Human Nature” during Madonna’s Sticky & Sweet Tour.
