A new documentary on rapper French Montana is set to premiere on Paramount+ next month. The French Montana Story: For Khadija will hit the streaming service on November 19, following its theatrical premiere at the 2023 Tribeca Film Festival. The documentary is directed by Mandon Lovett, and is produced by Live Nation Productions for MTV Entertainment Studios. The flim captures the rags-to-riches story of the Moroccan born hip-hop superstar who immigrated to the U.S. at the age of 13, and was raised in the Bronx by a single mother after being abandoned by his father. “This is the best project I’ve ever worked on in my life,” said Montana. “It’s the first blueprint of an immigrant’s music dream, proving that anything is possible and it’s not about the awards, it’s about what we learn from the losses and sacrifices.” (Deadline)
