Riot Fest recently released the lineup for its upcoming edition, which is scheduled to take place September 20th-22nd, at SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview, Illinois.
For nearly a decade, Douglass Park had served as the venue for Riot Fest.
Fall Out Boy, Beck and Slayer are set to headline Riot Fest this year, along with Public Enemy, Bright Eyes, St. Vincent, Sublime, Rob Zombie, Pavement, The Offspring, The Marley Brothers, and Dr. Dog.
The Marley Brothers (Ziggy, Stephen, Julian, Ky-Mani), and Damian are set to perform their legendary father Bob Marley‘s music.
Spoon, Sum 41, Cypress Hill, The Hives, GWAR, Waxahatchee, Tierra Whack, Taking Back Sunday, Manchester Orchestra (performing Cope), Mastodon (performing Leviathan), Clutch, Suicidal Tendencies, Lamb of God, and Something Corporate are also part of the lineup.
The festival this year will also offer what its organizers are describing as a “choose your own adventure” experience called RiotLand. This includes themed areas, activities, and “activation experiences.”
Festival organizer Riot Mike posted a video message to explain why they’re doing RiotLand this year. “Without you – the fans – there would be no soul to what we do,” he said.
