Coi Leray recently dropped her first single of 2024, “Can’t Come Back.” The single comes along with an official music video that pays tribute to the iconic Janet Jackson.
“Can’t Come Back” was produced by Mike WiLL Made-It alongside Melz & True Beats. Dragan Andic directed the video, joined by Alondra Costa for creative direction and Johnathan Behr for production.
“That’s why I had to kick him to the curb,” Leray raps at the beginning of her verse. “The love has turned to hate, it’s getting worse/It’s alright ’cause you live and then you learn.”
The song was inspired by Jackson’s “The Pleasure Principle” and is set to appear on Leray’s upcoming EP. “Can’t Come Back” was one of two unreleased songs Leray debuted at her Coachella performances.
