Adele’s ’30’ Remains Atop Billboard 200 For Second Week

Adele‘s latest album 30 remains atop the all-genre Billboard 200 albums chart for a second consecutive week.

30 earned 288,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. in the week ending December 2, according to MRC Data, which is down 66% from last week’s blockbuster debut sum of 839,000 units.

Last week’s debut marked the largest week of 2021 for any album, beating Drake‘s Certified Lover Boy, which had earned 613,000 units in the week ending September 9.

This week, 30 scored the largest second week for an album in over three years, trumping Drake‘s Scorpion that had earned 335,000 units its sophomore week ending July 21, 2018.

Of 30‘s 288,000 equivalent album units, album sales slipped 68% to 225,000, SEA units dropped 57% to 61,000, which equals 81.33 million on-demand streams, and TEA units declined 64% to 2,000 units.
