Charli XCX has earned her first No. 1 on Billboard‘s Top Dance/Electronic Albums Chart with Brat.
Brat, released on June 7, debuts with 77,000 equivalent album units earned in the June 7-13 tracking week, according to Luminate. The figure includes 30,000 copies sold on vinyl.
The album’s tracks also dominate the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart, where all the songs on the 15-track album and two bonus cuts are ranked in the top 50.
Like Brat, Kaytranada‘s Timeless also made big strides in this week’s Top Dance/Electronic Albums Chart. In addition to coming in second with 21,000 units, nine songs from the 21-track album debuted on the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart.
Incidentally, Kaytranada’s third solo album was released the same day as Brat.
