“The Pop Out – Ken and Friends,” slated for Juneteenth, Wednesday, July 19, at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California, will mark Lamar’s first live show since the rap war between him and Drake.
“The Pop Out,” is a reference to a lyric from Lamar’s recent hit single “Not Like Us,” which sees him rapping, “Sometimes you gotta pop out and show n***s/ Certified boogeyman, I’m the one that up the score with ’em.”
The feud between Lamar and Drake has been ongoing for several months. It began in March when Lamar targeted Drake in his verse on Future and Metro Boomin‘s track “Like That.”
Since then, the rappers have been exchanging several diss tracks. taking aim at their families as well.
