Dua Lipa Calls For End To ‘Israeli Genocide’ In Gaza

Dua Lipa has called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, blasting the war as “Israeli Genocide.”

“Burning children alive can never be justified. The whole world is mobilizing to stop the Israeli genocide. Please show your solidarity with Gaza,” she wrote on Instagram.

Lipa reposted an Artists for Ceasefire graphic with the hashtag “#AllEyesOnRafah” on her Instagram, where she has 88 million followers.

The pop star, who is an advocate for Palestinian rights, had voiced her concerns about the bloody war in December.

She was one of the many celebrity signatories to an open letter by Artists for Ceasefire calling on President Joe Biden to call for peace in Gaza.

The situation in Gaza remains dire, with more than 36,000 Palestinians and 1,200 Israelis and foreign nationals killed since Hamas’ cross border attack on October 7. The fate of 125 hostages held in Gaza remains elusive as an agreement on a ceasefire and hostage release remains blocked.

Nearly two million Palestinians within the Gaza Strip have been displaced from their homes, many multiple times.
