Miley Cyrus has announced the final lineup for her “New Year’s Eve Party,” adding David Byrne to the all-star list of musical guests.
The former Talking Heads frontman recently released a new holiday song, “Fat Man’s Comin’”.
Earlier this month, Cyrus announced that singer Sia, rapper Latto, hip-hop duo Rae Sremmurd, singer-songwriter Fletcher, rock band Liily, Saturday Night Live‘s Chloe Fineman and Sarah Sherman, and comedy trio Please Don’t Destroy would be joining her and co-host Dolly Parton as performers for the NBC televised annual New Year’s Eve special music show.
Parton posed for a party-style shoot with her goddaughter Cyrus ahead of their New Year’s Eve bash.
The 76 year-old country music icon said, “I’m sure we’ll be wearing some bizarre costumes and we’ll be singing some serious songs, some fun songs [and] we’ll be bringing in the New Year in fun fashion, I’m sure.”
“Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party” will air live on NBC and stream live on Peacock beginning 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 31.
