Pop superstar Dua Lipa recently announced she has postponed two Canadian tour dates until July.
The “Levitating” singer was set to perform in Montreal and Toronto on February 22 and 23, respectively, as part of her long-awaited Future Nostalgia Tour.
Lipa didn’t reveal the reason behind the postponement, although it may reflect the recent surge in Covid-19 cases around the world.
“My loves, I am sorry for any inconvenience, but my shows in Montreal & Toronto are being rescheduled to July 25th & 27th. All tickets will be honoured for the new dates. I’m sorry we have to wait a bit longer to sing and dance with each other live but I can’t wait to see you all!” the singer posted on Twitter.
Last September, Lipa had announced dates for a 28-city tour of North America in support of her Grammy-winning album Future Nostalgia.
The trek is set to kick off on February 9 at FTX Arena in Miami. The tour will feature support from Megan Thee Stallion, Caroline Polachek and Lola Zouai.
