Another sexual assault claim was recorded against Trey Songz, as Dylan Gonzalez, an artist and former basketball star at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, has claimed that the singer had raped her at a “well-known Las Vegas Hotel.”
Gonzalez did not specify any details of the incident but has confirmed that she is taking legal action against the singer.
In an Instagram post, she wrote, “With what seems like endlessly reoccurring news of the alleged sexual assaults committed by Trey Songz, I am forced to repeatedly relive in my mind, and suffer anew, the long-suppressed horror and unbearable PTSD of my rape by his very hands at a well known Las Vegas Hotel.”
Gonzalez also asked other sexually abused individuals to come forward to fight for justice, adding, “Suppression of our voices only emboldens our oppressors, and you cannot heal what you do not reveal.”
However, she has not answered questions about the details of the incident she was alluding to.
Gonzalez had already dropped hints about the lawsuit on New Year’s Eve, when she tweeted, “Trey Songz is a rapist. Lord forgive me I Couldn’t hold that in another year.”
This is not the first allegation of sexual assault against Songz. In November 2021, Songz was involved in another investigation of a similar gravity after his 37th birthday party at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas.
Famous actress and television star Keke Palmer had also claimed back in 2017 that she was filmed without consent by the singer and his friends. Model Celina Powell and her friend Aliza had already exposed the singer in 2020, calling him “weird” after he allegedly threatened them and urinated on them.
