Quavo has been slapped with a lawsuit that claims the Migos‘ rapper assaulted a limo driver outside the Virgin Hotel in Las Vegas.
In a complaint filed earlier in December in Nevada state court, Terrill R. Cowans alleges that Quavo and several of his associates attacked him “unprovoked” on July 3 because they were upset that he left a member of the group behind at a club.
“When plaintiff responded, the Migos artists and affiliates told plaintiff to ‘shut the f**k up,’ and one of the Migos artists threw a bottle at plaintiff,” attorneys for Cowans wrote in the lawsuit obtained by Billboard. “Plaintiff was then attacked by three to five Migos artists and/or affiliates who repeatedly punched and kicked plaintiff causing plaintiff injuries.”
The plaintiff has also alleged that the staff at the Virgin Hotel saw the alleged assault and did nothing to break it up. He is seeking unspecified damages from Quavo, Migos Touring, and the hotel for the injuries he suffered, which he alleges left him disfigured.
