Boo at the Zoo is back and better than ever! This timed, ticketed event is designed to minimize crowds and maximize fun. Harvest Hoot at The Children’s Museum (Denver)
From Friday, October 25 through Sunday, October 27, the Children’s Museum of Denver at Marsico Campus will transform into a spook-tacular wonderland of fun! Dress to impress in your favorite costume and join us for some fabulous fall activities like Monster Carnival games, boo-tiful crafts, meet & greets with live creatures, fang-tastic fun in The Teaching Kitchen, rides on the Rocky Mountain Mini Train ($4) and so much more!

Join us as Far East Center and community partners present Mile High Trunk or Treat at Empower Fields! This will be our 4th year hosting and we have decided to bring you an event you will not want to miss. We’ve moved to a bigger, spookier location—EMPOWER FIELD STADIUM PARKING LOT—and are adding more frightfully exciting activities for the whole community!
Fangtastic Festival (Castle Rock)
Every Friday before Halloween the Downtown Merchants Association hosts a Booth-to-Booth Trick-or-Treat event for families and care givers with home schooled kids or children not yet in school. With Halloween music, vendor booths, and of course candy, this event is always one of the cutest in town.

Central City Spooktacular (Central City)
Mix 100 presents the 1st ever Central City Spooktacular brought to you by Main Street Central City & Mix 100! Join us as historic Main Street Central City transforms into a Victorian haunted village on three evenings: Oct. 19, 26 and 31 from 6:00PM – 9:00 PM for this first ever Halloween Spooktacular. Admission is free and appropriate for all ages with music, Trick or Treat Street for the kids and Halloween themed pop-up bars for the adults. There’s dancing in the street with performances of Thriller led by The Infamous Backroom Cabaret, a witch keeping a watchful eye as she stirs her cauldron, haunted happenings and more. (Must be 21 years of age to consume alcoholic beverages.)
Dia de los Muertos at Civic Center Park (Denver)
Día de los Muertos at Civic Center: Remembering Our Ancestors through Art, presented by Denver Botanic Gardens, will bring the Denver community together as a collective to honor and remember our ancestors and loved ones who have passed. This event will allow the community to reflect on having a greater cultural understanding of death as a common human experience that should be honored and celebrated. We will have a Vendor Market, Art Installations, Food Trucks, A Procession, Mexica Dancers, Music, an Art Exhibit and many other exciting activations! Dia de los Muertos at Civic Center is produced in collaboration with Local Artist Cal Duran.
Trunk or Treat (Wheat Ridge)
Join us for Trunk-or-Treat at Anderson Park on October 26, 2024, from 4-6 p.m.! Experience a fun twist on trick-or-treating with creatively decorated trunks and festive games. Children can vote for their favorite trunk and the trunk with the most votes will win a prize!

Our student showcase offers a night of FREE Dia de los Muertos performances which include our beginner/intermediate In Lak’ech Youth Folklorico Dance group, LIVE Mariachi by our beginner/intermediate youth performance group, Mariachi Quetzal, a puppet show by our Youth Visual Arts students, and special performances by Sabor Latino Folklorico and Mariachi Los Mensajeros!
Trunk or Treat (Thornton)
Join us for our Spook-tacular, family-friendly Trunk or Treat event! This event is open to the public! Admission is FREE, and includes a walk through our Trunk-or-Treat lot (including tons of yummy candy!), haunted bus, indoor carnival games, and bounce castles! Concessions including hot dogs, nachos, baked goods, hot chocolate and hot apple cider will be available for purchase from $1-$5.
