The important thing is NOT that my birthday is August 30th.  No, the important thing is that I’m one of those people who LOVES to receive gift cards.  Some people crab about it, but not me.  So remember that, okay?

I grew up an Air Force brat, moved all over the place, saw the world, etc.  My first radio gig started in 1977, and that eventually led to this dream job at MIX 100 starting in January of 1993.

My passion outside of radio is reading and writing. I’ve published two novels for Young Adults. Galahad 1: The Comet’s Curse was the first, and the sequel, Galahad 2: The Web of Titan continues the adventure.  Be on the lookout for the exciting third volume (Yes, Galahad 3) that's out in bookstores now.   Plus, I enjoy working with young writers, and host writing assemblies and workshops around town at various schools and libraries.
