The Jane Report

David Letterman talked about the 84-year-old woman Powerball jackpot winner last night. He says now maybe her grandkids will finally visit her.
Justin Bieber got into it with another photographer the other day. There isn't much information on how it started. But it ended with Justin telling his bodyguards to take the guy's camera. The guy begged Justin to give it back, and he finally did. But he kept the memory card for good. Someone else got it all on tape. The photographer was pretty pitiful about it. Justin just laughed and joked the whole time, yelling so everyone who was watching could hear him.
And speaking of the Biebs, he has become the latest star who is set to literally mingle with the stars as he’s signed up for a trip to space. The 19-year-old and his manager Scooter Braun have been welcomed to the Virgin Galactic programme by Sir Richard Branson, who publicly announced the two would be flying way above the earth. Sir Richard tweeted from his official Twitter account: ‘Great to hear @justinbieber & @scooterbraun are latest @virgingalactic future astronauts. Congrats, see you up there!’ The announcement online was the latest addition of stars, who include Ashton Kutcher and Leonardo DiCaprio, who have paid the $250,0000 deposit fee to get priority for the flights when the program becomes available. The hefty price is no issue for Justin who’s net worth is estimated at $110 million.
It's a strange fact of life that when young girls see their favorite pop stars, many start to cry. But apparently, the mere statues of One Direction at Madame Tussauds in London are enough to send teen girls into sobbing fits, and that's caused the museum to make special arrangements. The British tabloid The Daily Mirror reports that there's so much crying going on around the eerily realistic wax figures of Harry, Louis, Niall, Zayn and Liam, Madam Tussauds has had to order extra boxes of tissues -- 150, to be exact -- to handle all the moisture. Not only that, but the paper claims the museum has actually hired someone to be a "tissue attendant" and make sure there are enough on hand to wipe away the tears. The One Direction wax figures will be in London until July, and then they'll head off on a world tour, with stops that include New York City and Australia.
Martha Stewart had her first two Match.com dates this week. One guy is named Larry and he's in the steel business. The other is named Stan, and he's a commercial director. Martha definitely didn't fall in love at first sight. But she told Matt Lauer she had fun and she'd see them again. Stan actually worked on some of the old Kmart commercials that Martha used to do, before she went to jail.
Are Kris Jenner and Bruce Jenner heading towards divorce? Not according to daughter Khloe, but she did tell Jay Leno on The Tonight Show that they're spending a lot of time apart. "Well, they're not having problems but they still like to live apart, which is definitely different," the 28-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, married to Lamar Odom, explained. "In my house, there is a man room for Lamar. A room, not a different house. I think they took my idea and ran with it and they got another house. Bruce stays there sometimes." "It's in the same state, a different city," Khloe clarified to the host. "I'm not for that, but you know, to each their own. I don't compare relationships. I just think a little too much time apart maybe isn't the best thing." Kardashian and Odom, 33, have been married for three years, while Kris, 57, and Bruce, 63, have been together for over 20 years and share two biological children together. "They're like, 'Don't judge us. We've been married years,'" Khloe recalled. "I'm like, 'I know people that have been married longer that still live together.'"
Brad Pitt went to TWO premieres for his new movie "World War Z" yesterday, first in Atlanta and then in Philadelphia. They were both surprise appearances. He got the Atlanta crowd cheering when he mentioned the Braves, and then he says everyone will get a t-shirt. Atlanta and Philly are about 800 miles apart, so he had to take a two-hour flight in between showings. Then in Philly, he played the cheesesteak card right off the bat.
While we're on the subject of Brad, his lover Angelina Jolie wasn’t the only one who got a gift on her birthday Tuesday. After she, Brad and their six children dined at Berlin ramen shop Next to Kuchi, Brad left their waiter a $738 tip! “They are so cool,” their waiter, 24-year-old Undine Orth told Germany’s BILD newspaper. At nine o’clock at night, they were there at the door,” Undine remembers. “They took their shoes off, like all guests.” Brad confidently ordered up more than $1,000 worth of sushi, salad and soup — everything on the menu, Orth says. And around 10:50 pm, he stopped at the bar, slapped down more than $1,846 in cash, and said, “That’s good,” Orth claims. “My knees were shaking,” she says. “I shared the tip with 15 of my colleagues.” Angelina and Brad were in town for the premiere of Brad’s new movie, World War Z. After dinner, they continued on to the premiere’s after-party at Soho House, leaving Maddox, 11, Pax, 9, Zahara, 8, Shiloh, 7, and Vivienne and Knox, 4, back at the Adlon Hotel. Angelina left the after party around midnight, while Brad stayed until 2:30 am.
"The Internship" opens tomorrow. It stars Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson as two unemployed salesmen with outdated computer skills who talk their way into intern positions at Google. They then have to compete against dozens of tech-savvy college students for a job. Vince Vaughn talked about his character in the new movie, "The Internship." He said he plays a guy who wants to work at Google because they have a lot of cool perks, but he and his friend, played by Owen Wilson, don't really have the skills to work there.
