KIMN (MIX 100) Pick Your Purse – Sex and the City Collection Contest
Official Rules
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
HOW TO ENTER
a. The MIX 100- Pick Your Purse Contest (the “Contest”) will begin at 8:00 a.m. Mountain
Time (“MT”) on May 5th, 2008 and end at approximately 7p.m. MT on July 3rd, 2008 (the “Contest Period”).
b. To participate in Contest, log onto http://www.mix100.com and join the Mix V.I.P Club (free of charge), if not already a member. Enter your first name and last name, complete address, city, state, zip code, home telephone number, a valid email address, and date of birth in the online membership form. Only one membership per person, per email address is permitted. Memberships will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. The authorized account holder is the natural person who is assigned to the email address by an internet access provider, online service provider or other organization that is responsible by assigning email addresses or the domain associated with the submitted email address. For purposes of these Official Rules, “receipt” of an online membership form will be solely determined when the www.mix100.com web server records the entry information. Any automated computer receipt (such as one confirming delivery of e-mail) does not constitute actual receipt of a membership form for purposes of these Official Rules. KIMN’s computer is the official time keeping device for this contest. Use of any device to automate entry is prohibited. The station is not responsible for entries not received due to difficulty accessing the internet, service outages or delays, computer difficulties or other technological glitches. Registration for the Mix V.I.P. Club must be completed by 6p.m. on April 28th MT at the latest for a chance to participate in the Contest.
c. Once you have registered for membership in the Mix V.I.P. Club, listen to Mix 100 Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m.-9:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. MT and Friday from 8:00 a.m.-9:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. MT from May5th, 1008 to July 3rd, 2008 for your name to be announced on-air. A name from the Mix V.I.P. Club database will be selected and announced on air every hour during the above mentioned hours in a random drawing of all registered memberships in the database at that time. Once a name has been announced on-air, the person whose name is announced will have twenty (20) minutes from the time their name is announced to call the Mix Contest Line at 303-839-1MIX (303-839-1649) and identify him/herself. If the person calls back within the allotted time, he/she will win the opportunity to claim a purse of their choice from the purses displayed on the Mix 100 website at the exact time they win. If the person does not call back within the allotted time, another name will not be called until the next selection hour. Each purse can be viewed on the Mix 100 website (www.Mix100.com). As each winner selects a purse, that purse will be identified as taken and no longer available for subsequent winner selection. Any purse that has not already been chosen by a previous winner will be available to the subsequent winner(s) until all the purses have been won.
d. There will be up to 61 total winners during this Contest. The Station is not responsible for telephone service outages, delays, busy signals, equipment malfunctions and any other technological difficulties that may prevent an individual from completing his/her telephone call. Winners must listen to win.
e. A Mix V.I.P. Club member can only become a qualifying winner one time during this Contest.
ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS
a. The Contest is open to all KIMN listeners who are 18 years of age or older and who legally reside in the state of Colorado. Employees of KIMN (the “Station”), its licensee, its corporate parents, subsidiaries, and affiliates, its advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, other radio stations in the Denver metropolitan area and the members of their immediate families and/or households are ineligible to participate or win. Subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
b. Only one winner per household is permitted in any Station contest. Listeners are eligible to win a Station contest only once every thirty (30) days. Listeners are eligible to win a prize valued at $600.00 or more only once every calendar year.
c. Contestants are required to provide truthful information and the Station will reject and delete any entry that it discovers to be false or fraudulent. The Station will disqualify any entry from individuals who do not meet the eligibility requirements, and the Station will also delete any entry received from persons under the age of 13 in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act.
d. Decisions of the Station management with respect to the Contest are final.

b. The selection of purses available at any given time will vary. New purses will be added to the selection periodically throughout the contest. As each winner selects a purse, that purse will be identified as taken and no longer available for subsequent winner selection. Any purse that has not already been chosen by a previous winner will be available to the subsequent winner(s) until all the purses have been won. KIMN reserves the right to change the purse selection at anytime throughout the contest.
c. All prizes or prize certificates may be picked up at the office of the Station at the address below. The winner will forfeit any prize or prize certificate not claimed within thirty (30) days of winning. In the event that a prize or prize certificate is mailed to the winner, it will be with the prior written consent of the winner and therefore, winner assumes the risk of its loss. The Station is not responsible for the safe arrival of a prize or prize certificate.
d. There is no substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent for prizes, except that Mix 100 may, at its sole discretion, substitute prizes of comparable value or cash. The prizes are expressly limited to the item(s) listed above and do not include taxes, gratuities or any other expenses. Other restrictions may apply.
WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION
a. Decisions of the Station management with respect to the contest are final.
b. Winners will be selected via the method described in Section 1 of these official contest rules.
c. Odds of winning depend upon the number of Mix V.I.P Club members there are at the time of selection.
d. Winners must listen to win.
CONDITIONS
a. Payments of all federal, state and local taxes are solely the responsibility of the winners. Grand prize winner will be required to sign an IRS Form W-9 or the equivalent. Failure to provide an accurate and complete Social Security Number, if required, is a violation of federal law and will result in forfeiture of prize.
b. By participating in the Contest, the winner agrees to have the winner’s name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest without additional financial or other compensation, and, where legal, to sign a publicity release confirming such consent prior to acceptance of the prize.
c. Prior to awarding any prize or prize certificate, the Station in its sole discretion may require contest winners (and their travel companions, if any) to sign a liability release, agreeing to hold the Station, its corporate licensee, its parent, subsidiary and affiliated corporations, and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the Contest.
d. The Station, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process, the operation of the Station’s Web Site or is otherwise in violation of the rules. It further reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the Contest if it is not capable of completion as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort.
e. The Station reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the Contest, including the substitution of a prize or equivalent value, which will become effective upon announcement. If due to circumstances beyond the control of the Station, any competition or prize-related event is delayed, rescheduled, postponed, cancelled or has a change of venue, the Station reserves the right, but not the obligation, to cancel or modify the Contest and shall not be required to award a substitute prize.
f. Failure to comply with the Contest rules may result in a contestant’s disqualification, solely at the discretion of the Station.
g. The Station is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the Contest, or in the announcement of a prize.
h. Copies of the written contest rules and a list of winners (when complete) are available during regular business hours at the main studio of KIMN, 1560 Broadway, Suite 1100, Denver, CO 80202.
