The Jane Report

The new Superman movie "Man of Steel" opens today. It stars Henry Cavill as Superman, and it's a reboot, not a sequel. Kevin Costner and Diane Lane play Clark Kent's parents, Russell Crowe is Jor-El, Superman's REAL father back on Krypton. Amy Adams is Lois Lane, and Michael Shannon from "Boardwalk Empire" is the bad guy, General Zod. It was directed by Zach Snyder, who did "300" and "Watchmen", and was produced by Christopher Nolan, who did the "Batman" trilogy.
Is it time to start up the Lindsay Lohan Wreck Watch again? Because after only about a month in rehab, Lindsay has already switched facilities. On Wednesday, Lindsay left Betty Ford and checked into a place called Cliffside in Malibu. But there may not have been any drama behind the switch. Sources say that Cliffside is a better fit for a 90-day program, which is what Lindsay has to do. And the switch was approved by both the prosecutors and the judge. One thing Lindsay supposedly wasn't getting at Betty Ford was individual therapy. It was all group. And we should note that Lindsay probably STILL won't be allowed to take Adderall, just in case you were thinking Lindsay moved to a more lenient facility. However the not-always-reliable Radar Online says Lindsay was DISRUPTIVE at Betty Ford, and they were even thinking about kicking her out before she left.
Score one for Justin Bieber: he was NOT driving his Ferrari the day Keyshawn Johnson confronted him for reckless driving -- and there's video that proves it. Law enforcement sources tell TMZ the L.A. County Sheriff's Deputies went to Justin's Calabasas home to check out security video from Memorial Day -- that's when Keyshawn and other neighbors claimed Justin was driving at breakneck speeds through their neighborhood, endangering adults, children and pets. Tyler the Creator told TMZ last night HE was driving the Ferrari not Justin. We've learned the video shows just that. Law enforcement sources say the 5-minute video shows the Ferrari pulling into Justin's driveway with Tyler behind the wheel. Justin follows closely behind on his motorcycle. Keyshawn shows up 30 seconds later, as Tyler gets out of the car and Justin gets in so he can make the tight maneuver into the garage. Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... the Sheriff's Dept. will send the case over to the L.A. County D.A. for review, but one source says it's "highly unlikely" the D.A. will file criminal charges against anyone.
Jimmy Kimmel talked about Father's Day coming up on Sunday. He said if you're looking for a gift to give your dad, just try not to roll your eyes whenever he says something.
John Stamos did an interview the other day and talked about how he used to have a thing for his old co-star Lori Loughlin, from "Full House". She was his girlfriend and then his wife on the show, but in real life they never got anything going, she was the "one that got away".
Kris Jenner has opened up about her daughter Kim Kardashian's plans to marry Kanye West. The 57-year-old "momager" said that if Kim and Kanye were to decide to get married, it would be a small and "private" occasion, unlike her televised wedding to Kris Humphries in 2011. Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Jenner said: "This time it will be private and smaller, if she does get married again - not 500 people." Jenner's admission comes as the reality TV star kicks off the promotional trail for the six-week trial run of her new talk show, Kris. The program will reportedly focus on fashion, beauty and fitness, and Jenner has said that she hopes to inspire women her age. She said: "So many women give up in life when they get a little bit older... I want to be a positive influence. I want to come from a really good place. Some people are just lost, and maybe I can be an inspiration."
Billy Ray Cyrus is getting divorced. Billy Ray's wife, Tish Cyrus, is citing "irreconcilable differences" in her filing. Her decision to pull the plug on the marriage comes 3 years after Billy Ray filed for divorce but dropped it in an attempt to work things out. Billy Ray and Tish have been married for 19 years and have 5 children, including, of course, Miley. There's only one minor child left, Noah Cyrus, who is 13. Tish is asking for full physical and legal custody, with visitation to Billy Ray. Tish is also asking for spousal support, and she wants him to pay her attorney's fees. The date of separation is listed as TBD. Tish tells TMZ, "This is a personal matter and we are working to find a resolution that is in the best interest of our family. We ask that you respect our privacy at this time."
Kate Middleton, like any mom-to-be, probably has some fears and concerns about childbirth. And the pregnant royal is reportedly considering HypnoBirth as a method to help ease the pain of delivery, sources tell Grazia magazine, as excerpted by The Times. A source tells the mag that Prince William's wife "has researched various birthing methods. She wants it to be natural, so HypnoBirthing is one option that appealed and she had been reading up on it and listening to CDs to get into the right frame of mind." "Some of her friends have used this method and swear by it," adds the source. "Kate wants to do it her way and be relaxed."
Jessica Alba planned a HypnoBirth for her second child, explaining to Ellen DeGeneres, "It's not like a weird thing." "It's basically my husband takes me through sort of a meditation. So he's like saying, 'You're relaxed and you're floating on clouds,' while you're going through labor and your contractions. He just sort of does a guided meditation," she says. "I'm just concentrating on breathing and staying relaxed because it's when you get tense that makes the whole labor worse and more painful. That's all it is." Sounds pretty legit. That said, Kate isn't going to get too specific about the royal baby's delivery. The palace told E! News in a statement they "are aware of the report but cannot confirm or deny it." "We appreciate it's a happy occasion," the palace said, adding, "but there are some matters which should remain private to the duchess."
She may be the daughter of famous funny man Eddie Murphy, but Bria Murphy takes her burgeoning modeling career seriously. That said, she's not willing to sacrifice her health just to achieve the perfect slim body magazines covet. In an interview on Good Morning America that aired on Tuesday, June 11, the 23-year-old offspring of Murphy and ex-wife Nicole Murphy (herself a former model) revealed the drastic measures some mannequins resort to in order to lose weight. "I've heard of people eating the cotton balls with the orange juice... they dip it in the orange juice and then they eat the cotton balls to help them feel full, because the cotton's not doing anything. It's just dissolving. And it makes you think you're full, but you're not," she said. "Lots of girls get addicted to drugs and anorexia, it's -- there's a whole list of things, because it's a lot of pressure to be perfect," continued Bria. The stunner also shared her dream to model for Victoria's Secret, a wish that doesn't seem out of reach judging by the sexy bikini shots of her, taken in Hawaii on the same day the interview aired. She's fully aware, however, that the industry she's chosen can lead to crippling self-doubt and body image issues. "It's your job to go into a room...and some people will just say no without an explanation, and some will be like, 'Oh, your nose is too big. Your butt's too big. Oh, your legs are flabby.' Like, they'll just go on you, 'Oh, you need to tighten that up,' " she said.
