The Jane Report

Jay Cutler and Kristen Cavallari are man and wife. After tying the knot at the Davidson County Clerk's office in Nashville, Tenn. on Friday, June 7 -- buying a marriage license and tweeting pictures of their wedding rings -- the couple celebrated with a ceremony at the Woodmont Christian Church on Saturday, June 8. According to the church's website, the venue where the couple said "I do" was listed #1 on Martha Stewart's "Wedding Ceremony Locations in the South," described as "small and traditional with a bright, modern interior and a skyscraping steeple."
Justin Bieber tried to hit up a party at the Lure nightclub in Hollywood Saturday night, but got denied because he's underage. The funny thing is, one of Justin's people actually called the club earlier in the day and told them he was coming . . . and they told him not to, because he's only 19. But he showed up anyway. When he got there, he tried to sneak through a back door. And it might have worked, except that he got a shout-out from the stage. The rapper GAME was performing, and he saw Justin sneaking in, so he announced that Justin was on his way in. A source says, quote, "That's when security saw him and escorted him out immediately. He left right away, he seemed really embarrassed."
And remember that photographer/Bieber/camera memory card situation from last week? Well the photographer who claims Bieber directed his bodyguards to attack him and steal his memory card is now suing the singer and one of the bodyguards ... alleging the bodyguard threatened him with a gun on him during the incident. As TMZ first reported, photog Jeffrey Binion filed a police report June 5, claiming Bieber's bodyguards attacked him while he tried to take pics of the Biebs outside Miami's Hit Factory recording studio. Now Binion has filed suit against Bieber and bodyguard Hugo Hesny, claiming Bieber masterminded the attack. Binion says at Bieber's behest, Hesny threw him against a wall, grabbed him by the throat, and "displayed a gun" [holstered under his shirt] while he and the other bodyguards took the memory card from his camera. Binion (who works as a professional photog and insists he's not a paparazzo) claims he suffered bodily injury, pain and suffering, mental anguish and incurred medical expenses. A rep for Bieber had no comment.
A Louisiana couple is suing Jessica Simpson for cashing in on their baby -- by pretending he was hers. Umm, what? Yeah, we all know that Jess already has her own tyke, named Maxwell, and another on the way. So why would she need a strange couple's baby? Conspiracy theorists, gather round! The couple's lawsuit says they were at a department store in Metairie and were given the chance to meet Simpson, who was promoting her clothing line. Someone suggested that the couple's baby son pose with Simpson, which he did. The couple were then shocked that the picture ended up on the cover of OK! Magazine with a headline suggesting that the baby was Jessica's. Since Jess was still pregnant at the time, you'd have to be a dolt to think the baby was hers, but hey. Not everyone can put two and two together. The couple believe that Jessica plotted to get a baby in her grip so she could sell it to a magazine as her own and get money for an exclusive photo of her new baby. Wow, imagine if the mag fell for that? Could they not see that Jess still had her baby bump? The couple is reportedly suing for $75,000. They say that Jessica's photo op with their baby caused them "emotional distress." Ahh, the hazards of baby photo ops!
Apparently the world record for fastest clapping has just been broken. Guinness hasn't verified it yet, but a kid named Bryan Bednarek just posted a video online where he claps 802 times in one minute. The current record is 721.
Hank Azaria, who does a lot of character voices on "The Simpsons," read the starting lineup at the Los Angeles Dodgers game yesterday. He did it in the voice of Apu from "The Simpsons."
Christina Ricci will play Lizzie Borden in an upcoming Lifetime TV movie. Back in 1892, Lizzie was tried and acquitted of murdering her father and stepmother with an ax at their family home in Fall River, Massachusetts. There's no title or airdate yet. "Bewitched" star Elizabeth Montgomery played Lizzie in the 1975 ABC TV movie "The Legend of Lizzie Borden" . . . and Chloe Sevigny was attached to play her in an HBO miniseries a few years back, but that never happened.
Erin Brockvich -- who was famously immortalized by Julia Roberts in the movie about her life -- was arrested in Las Vegas on Friday for allegedly operating her boat while under the influence. The Nevada Department of Wildlife tells TMZ one of their game wardens observed Brockovich (now Brockovich-Ellis following her marriage in 1999) struggling to dock her boat at Lake Mead, just outside Boulder City. When the warden attempted to offer assistance, he noticed she "exhibited several signs of an intoxicated boater." The cop conducted an investigation and subsequently arrested Brockovich for OUI (operating under the influence). A law enforcement source tells TMZ that Brockovich's blood alcohol content was almost twice the legal limit of .08. Brockovich was to Clark County Detention Center. We're told she was cooperative during the investigation and arrest.
