Mix 100 is more than Denver’s Best Mix of Music. It is the new home to Bo Jaxon – Mix 100's Afternoon Drive Host and PD.
Bo got started in radio during his college years, on a suggestion from his mother who told him if he was always going to goof around; he may as well get paid for it! Bo was born in New Jersey, went to high school and college in Florida, where he majored in broadcasting/communications, and then moved to Vegas for 15 years before making his way to So Cal.
Bo is married with 3 lovely children. Bo loves to lend a helping hand in the community, contributing hours upon hours of personal time throughout the years towards special projects, food drives, and blood drives. Watch out, he’s a juicy one!
For Career Days, you’ll find Bo at the schools educating the children about careers in broadcasting; yet, leaves enough time throughout the year to pick up a hammer and build houses for Habitat for Humanity. He also has time to request a few mulligans in Charity Golf Tournaments.
Bo loves spending quality time with his kids, he loves to eat everything, especially pizza and peanut butter (he has never tried them all together but is willing to give it a try!). Bo also loves all sports from golfing to softball, football being his favorite, especially his beloved Miami Dolphins. Although, the Denver orange isn’t a bad color on him!
Bo’s favorite things about being a part of radio is having a voice in the community and being able to get out there and help people. He’s done some pretty cool interviews over the years, including Pamela Anderson, Alec Baldwin, and Vince Vaughn.
Bo’s goals in life are quite simple: To live life to the fullest and to have fun, so as long as radio remains fun to him, he will always be a part of it! Bo knows radio!
